Make a donation

Your generosity saves lives!

Our rescues are provided extensive medical care, which may include costly surgeries and medication in order to get them well and adopted! We can't do this without you.

A cash donation can made via PayPal or Venmo, these platforms are free to use and 100% of your contribution directly benefits incoming dogs and their care.

Forever Fosters are rescues not suitable for adoption due to medical needs and are cared for by our experienced Foster Parents. Sponsoring these dogs covers food & supplies, vet visits, and treatment.

All Donations are Tax Deductible. Thank you for your support!

Volunteer your time

SSDR is run by dedicated volunteers. We don't employ staff or occupy a facility.

Since our dogs are in foster homes, our needs are different than a typical shelter.

Questions? Message us on Facebook for the quickest response.

We're looking for people who can:

Transport dogs to events, collect donated supplies, and drop off items to foster parents

Organize fundraising events and or have great ideas about how to raise money

Design and create promotional swag or facilitate other ways of spreading the word

Take fun photographs of rescue dogs to share them with prospective owners

If you have these skills we'd love to meet you!
